Tenth Annual All That Jazz Fundraising Event to Support WCC Programs

Celebrate with us! All That Jazz, the Westside Community Center's annual gala event, will celebrate its 10th anniversary at 6 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2012, at the Hillcrest Country Club in Bartlesville, Oklahoma (click here for map). This year's musical lineup will feature the Mo Hemian Jazz Syndicate during dinner and, for the main entertainment, the multi-talented musician, Eldredge Jackson.

The New Orleans-born saxophonist, who was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, has delighted audiences with his blend of traditional and smooth jazz peppered with a dash of gospel. Jackson has performed with a cross-section of urban jazz and R&B musicians like Wayman Tisdale, Najee, Howard Hewett, Jeffrey Osborne, Angela Winbush, Stanley Jordan, Shirley Murdock, Con-Funk-Shun, Tom Braxton, and fellow Tulsans Charlie Wilson and The GAP Band.

Tax-deductible donations and proceeds from All That Jazz benefit the Westside Community Center's youth programs. The Center has been a United Way agency since 1951 and its goals have evolved to meet local needs. Today, the Center focuses on uniting, nurturing and empowering youth through such practical programs as the After School Zone, Peaceful Warriors, Summer Enrichment, and Work Ethics (WE) Pro$per.

Tickets are $100 and include a raffle ticket for the evening’s showcased prizes. After School Zone

What are you doing between 3:30 and 5:30 every afternoon? If you are looking for a fun place to study, learn, have a nutritious snack, and hang out after school, sign up to join us weekdays in the After School Zone. Buses will pick you up directly from school and take you home at the end of the day.
