How you can help!

Volunteers

The Westside Community Center depends on the generosity of its volunteers to provide the programs it does for seniors and youth. Because of the limits in our operating funds, the work of our volunteers is as good as cash donations because they provide assistance for which we would otherwise have to pay.

After School Zone

• Homework assistervision
• Recreation supervision, indoors and outside
• ance for 1st-10th graders
• Computer lab sup
• Educational workshops in your hobby or area of expertise

Work Ethics Pro$per

• Apprenticeship sites for student workers (June-August)
• Help provide employment-preparedness training for students ages 13-16

Computer Lab

• Maintenance help (upgrades, downloads, etc.)
• Help and supervision for students using lab
• Youth and senior basic computer education instruction

General

• Landscaping and building maintenance
• New program creation
• Fundraising/grantwriting

Donations

Donate online! The Westside Community Center is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Contributions and donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
