Work Ethics (W.E.) Pro$per is an employment education program designed to equip youth with skills needed to apply for and secure employment and to successfully represent their employer in business and social settings.
The program exposes youth to accomplished professionals which affords them the opportunity to learn about the fundamentals of prosperity through apprenticeships in professional and service centers. Each monthly meeting focuses on a specific aspect of social and business etiquette, or upon tools needed to prepare for employment.
W.E. Pro$per is funded through the United Way and is offered at no cost to participants. The core program covers areas that are adaptable to every age and gender. The current focus is teens from 13 – 16 years of age. W.E. Pro$per teens meet the third Saturday of each month from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Westside Community Center. Attendance at these monthly meetings is mandatory for all participants.
