“Welcome to the Zone!”
The Westside Community Center’s After School Zone program serves as a supplemental education and humanities instruction program for Bartlesville students aged 7-15 years.
The Zone provides a nutritious snack, supervised recreation, a library, and supervised computer access within a safe, comfortable environment.
The After School Zone began August 11 th, and is now enrolling students for the 2010-2011 school year. Programs run from 3-5:30 p.m. every day with transportation from Central, Kane, Jane Phillips, and Oak Park schools and back home afterwards.
In order to ensure quality programming and instruction, the Westside Community Center is seeking volunteers to assist students with tutoring, nutrition, and recreation supervision.
If you’re interested in this program for your child, or in volunteering, please call (918) 336-6760 for more information. |
